Sydney Botox: What Every Gamer Will Want to Know about it All

Botulinum therapy (abbreviated to B.tox) is swiftly becoming established amongst fashionable Sydney society and has become an important part of grooming for individuals in the city. But I am often surprised when I hear the various myths that have been heard in connection with this uncomplicated procedure.

Here I have listed a selection of the common stories which I come across day in day out at Star Cosmetic Medicine, where I am employed as a physician.

Mistaken Belief Number 1: I will lose my facial expressions!

The human face has sixty or so muscles. Their extensive use can result in wrinkles to form. If surplus B.tox is used the facial expression may sometimes become too relaxed. The dosage injected by most doctors are calculated to make you look refreshed, nevertheless you will continue to look every bit as expressive.

Thus by employing the proper amount of the B.tox in just the right areas you can have a reduction in any fine lines and wrinkles without reducing facial expression.

We strongly recommend you review this terrific page for Botox Sydney tips…

Mistaken Belief Number 2: Botulinum is toxic!
This to some extent is right. Its medical term is Botulinum Toxin Type A. In large amounts it may result in loss of muscle tone and may even cause serious illness.

Chemists have an old phrase ‘everything is poisonous - it all depends on the dose’. All medicinal drugs can make a person sick in large enough quantities. If you drink too much water it can be fatal.

Mistaken Belief Number 3: It will hurt!
Your hairs are thicker than the needles we have at Star Cosmetic Medicine. Several individuals liken the shots to a mosquito bite. Definitely not as bad as having a blood profile.

Mistaken Belief Number 4: My face will lose sensitivity!
This is totally wrong. B.tox targets the junction between the nerve and the facial muscle, and not on sensate nerve fibers. Just the ability to relax muscles is affected by B.tox injections.

Mistaken Belief Number 5. You have to keep having B.tox or you will develop even worse fine lines and wrinkles than before!
This is also false.

BoTox is thought to last for upwards of three months. Later injections do last longer. The lines will slowly return as the muscle returns to normal. Nevertheless they won’t be any more pronounced than when you started your treatment.

As A Matter Of Fact any wrinkles should be be less pronounced than if you hadn’t had B.tox treatment - even if you never continue the therapy. Principally because your skin has had a ‘wrinkle holiday’ for a few months.
