Worldwide superstar Robbie Williams has been blasted by the press after a talk with Radio Times, in which he claimed the illegal drug blow was a wonderful drug, and it is a shame that it didn’t mix well with him. Williams has come under major argument in the years, after admitting to being hooked on cocaine and pharmaceuticals while smoking marijuana. Charities and campaign groups are now gunning the ex-Take That frontman exclaiming that he’s essentially promoting the Class B drug, that has been medically linked to psychological sickness and psychosis.
In the interview with Radio Times, the ‘Morning Song’ singer announced that he used to binge eat after smoking cannabis which made him pile the pounds on. Look at last year. Yes . Year of the Munchie 2009, he claimed. Weed, it’s such a nice drug. It is a beautiful drug.
However it doesn’t mix well with me at all. The Manager for DARE, David Gilbert has refered to Williams comments as disgusting, and recounted Robbie is grossly irresponsible, as an inspiration. Do you believe Robbie’s comments were irresponsible?
Instead of telling girls to embrace their inner rebel, Take That made all girls drool from their chops. With a well-timed move here and a ripped shirt there, Take That had a massive audience, even if their songs were a***. Out of all the members, Robbie Williams stood out to all the band’s fans. Once he left, he went onto release a variety of albums, spot a variety of UFOs and - for the entirety of 2009 - smoke a variety of marijuana. He says it’s lovely, so therefore we think it is too.
